The press conference announcing the establishment of the consortium was held in Conference Room 5a and 5b on the 5th floor of the International Science and Innovation Bldg. on Yoshida Campus of Kyoto University, and was attended by Prof. Shigeki Takeuchi of the Graduate School of Engineering, a representative of the consortium, as well as Shinji Asonuma, Director-General of the Open Innovation Institute, and Takahiro Nishimoto, General Manager of the Technology Research Laboratory of Shimadzu Corporation.
